Godfrey Phillips Shares: The shares of cigarette company Godfrey Philips were seen on the second day on February 17, on February 17. This boom in the shares of this company, which is making and selling many famous cigarettes, including Four Square, Marlborough, came after its December quarter results. The company said that its net profit increased by 48.7 per cent to Rs 315.9 crore in the December quarter, which was Rs 212.4 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company said its revenue rose 27.3 per cent to Rs 1,591.2 crore in the December quarter, which was Rs 1,249.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
At the operating level, its Ebitda increased by 57.6 per cent to Rs 358.8 crore, which was Rs 227.7 crore in the same quarter last year. At the same time, the company’s Ebitda margin rose to 22.6 percent, which was 18.2 percent in the same quarter a year ago.
At 12.35 pm, the shares of Godfrey Philips were trading up by 15.34% to Rs 6,920 per share on NSE. In the last one month, the company’s shares have rose by about 57.85%. At the same time, in the last one year, it has given a multibagger return of 158% to its investors.
Talking about the company’s shareholding, it remained almost stable in the December quarter. There was no change in promoter holdings. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) reduced their stake from 10.8 percent to 10.6 percent. On the other hand, Mutual Funds raised their stake in the December quarter to 1.8 percent, which was 1.78 percent in the previous quarter.
