2025 tvs raider 125: TVS is preparing for the launch of 2025 Raider 125 in India. This updated model has already been seen at the stockyard and dealership. The updated raider will compete in the highly popular 125cc Commuter-Prammium segment. In this new version, safety and performance have been further improved, which will improve braking and handling, while the engine platform will remain the same. In this segment, with strong rivals such as Honda Sp 125 and Hero Glamour, TVS is relying on such reforms to bring its offer into more discussions.
2025 tvs raider 125: major mechanical update
The biggest change in the new 2025 raider 125 is that it will now be available with single-channel super moto ABS and dual petal-type disc brake at both ends. By doing this, it will become one of the bikes giving rear disc options in its segment. Wide tires are being installed to take full advantage of upgraded brake setup in TVS Raider 125-90-section and 110-section in the next. The responsibility of suspension for better ride quality is handled by telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the back.
2025 TVS Raider 125: Engine and Performance
The existing engine setup is expected to continue in the new variants of Raider 125. Powered by 124.8cc, air-cooled, three-wall single-cylinder engine, it offers about 11.2hp and 11.7Nm torque. This unit is associated with 5-speed gearbox. TVS has focused on braking confidence and changes in handling rather than output upgrade to this update.
2025 tvs raider 125: features and styling
The raider will retain existing features such as a fully digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps and taillamps. Its top trims will also have a segment-first enhancement such as Voice Assistance and Navigation as well as alternative 5-inch TFT display. There are very few changes on the cosmetic front, except for new paint jobs, which separate the updated version from their previous models.
2025 tvs raider 125: Estimated price and launch time
The updated Raider 125 is expected to be slightly higher than the current price, which is between Rs 80,500 to Rs 94,500 (ex-showroom). Its units have already reached the dealership, so it is expected to have an official launch in October 2025 just before the festive season.
