PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment. This scheme, launched in February 2019, was started by the Central Government with the aim of providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, the government gives Rs 6,000 to farmers every year. This money is transferred directly to their bank accounts in three equal installments.
When will the 19th installment come?
The 19th installment is expected to be released in February 2025, although it has not been officially announced yet.
Which farmers do not get benefits?
If any member of the farmer family deposits tax then he is not given the benefit of the scheme. Family members means husband, wife and minor children. Those who do not have agricultural land have been excluded from PM Kisan Yojana. If you have agricultural land in the name of your grandfather or father or in the name of any family member, then you will not get the benefit of PM Kisan.
If one of the spouses is availing the benefits of this scheme then the other will not get the benefit under the scheme. If any agricultural owner is in a government job then he will not get the benefit of PM Kisan. Registered doctors, engineers, lawyers, CAs have also been kept out of this scheme. If a farmer gets a pension of Rs 10,000 annually then he cannot avail the benefits of this scheme.
You can surrender the scheme as per your wish.
If any farmer is taking the benefits of this scheme unfairly, he can leave it on his own will.
First of all go to PM Kisan website.
Click on the ‘Voluntary Surrender of PM Kisan Benefits’ tab.
Enter your registration number and captcha code and take OTP.
After entering the OTP, you will get the details of all the installments received. ‘Do you wish to Surrender your PM-Kisan Benefit?’ Click on ‘Yes’ and enter OTP. After this, money transfer to your account will stop.
This scheme has been designed to help the farmers with their financial needs. The government is making continuous efforts to implement it in a transparent and effective manner.
