Rescue operation continues in Swat river
According to the Pakistan district administration, rescuers are running rescue operations at five places along the river and more than 80 rescue workers are engaged in it. On Friday, Provincial Emergency Service spokesperson Shah Fahd said that about 100 rescuers have saved 58 people and the search for the missing tourists is going on.
10 people died due to rain in 24 hours
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the death of tourists, and instructed the authorities to increase security near rivers and drains. In addition, according to rescue officials, at least 10 people died in rain -related incidents in Eastern Punjab and South Sindh provinces in the last 24 hours.
