Blinkit received orders for 1,22,356 packets of condoms.
BlinkIt, a subsidiary of online food delivery app Zomato, delivered 1,22,356 packets of condoms during the New Year celebrations. According to Albinder Dhindsa, during this period people ordered maximum 2,34,512 packets of Aloo Bhujia. Condom was at number two. Mineral water was at third place in the list, people ordered 45,531 bottles of water. PartySmart was at fourth position, which received 22,322 orders. People ordered 6834 packets of ice cubes, 2434 Eno, 1003 lipsticks and 762 lighters on BlinkIt.

Albinder Dhindsa said that 31st December was very special for BlinkIt in many ways as the company received the highest number of orders yesterday so far. December 31 was the biggest day for the company in terms of highest number of orders per minute and highest number of orders per hour. Not only this, BlinkIt’s delivery partners received the highest amount in the form of tips yesterday. Moreover, a delivery partner in Hyderabad personally received the highest tip of Rs 2500 yesterday. The CEO said that yesterday the largest single order of Rs 64,988 was received from Kolkata on BlinkIt.
