Share market today: Indian stock markets saw a strong decline on Monday 3 February. The Sensex closed down 319 points. At the same time, the Nifty rolled to 23,261. Investors suffered even more damage in small and medium shares. BSE’s midcap index fell 0.89 percent. At the same time, the smallcap index dived 1.77 percent. Due to this, the assets of the stock market investors today decreased by more than Rs 4 lakh crore. Capital Goods, Realty, Power, Metal and Industrials shares were the biggest decline during today’s business. Market experts say that Donald Trump’s new tariff announcement and less than expected focus on Capes in the budget were the main reasons behind this decline.
At the end of the trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 77,186.74 points with 319.22 points or 0.41 per cent. At the same time, NSE’s 50 -share index, Nifty fell 121.10 points or 0.52 per cent to close at 23,361.05.
₹ 4.36 lakh crore of investors drowned
The total market capitalization of listed companies in BSE declined to Rs 419.48 lakh crore on 3 February today, which was Rs 423.84 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Saturday 1 February. In this way, the market cap of listed companies in BSE has reduced by about Rs 4.36 lakh crore today. Or in other words, the assets of investors have fallen by about Rs 4.36 lakh crore.

11 out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex closed with an increase in green mark today. In this, the shares of Bajaj Finance were the highest up of 5.28 per cent. This was followed by Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), Bajaj Finserv, Bharti Airtel and Maruti Suzuki closed with a gain of 1.50 per cent to 2.96 per cent.

The number of shares shut down on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,184 shares on the exchange were seen today. Out of this, 1,138 shares closed up rapidly. At the same time, 2,873 shares saw a decline. While 173 shares closed flat without any fluctuations. Apart from this, 77 shares touched their new 52-vende high during trading today. At the same time, 117 shares touched a new lower level of 52-weeks.
